AHJ is a feminist and inclusive organisation that empowers victims of war and discrimination through free training in journalism, human rights, arts and culture.

AHJ operates with a commitment to the public interest, maintaining a non-profit, secular, apolitical, and intergenerational approach.
OBJECTIVES
AHJ's core mission is to provide free professional training in journalism, human rights, arts and culture, enabling beneficiaries to access higher education and employment. AHJ uses education, protection, and networking as tools for empowerment and to support the defence of fundamental rights.

Committed to the public interest, the organisation is open to all individuals in distress or facing precarious living conditions, while upholding a non-profit, secular, apolitical, democratic, and transparent approach in all its activities.

Where necessary, AHJ may also carry out income-generating activities or recruit staff, in France and abroad, to support the achievement of its social mission, in line with its values and commitment to disinterested governance
FIELD OF ACTION
AHJ operates at the intersection of humanitarian aid, education, human rights advocacy, and support for independent media and civil society.
AHJ work focuses on​:

Empowerment of women in conflict, post-conflict, and exile contexts

Professional training in journalism, human rights, arts and culture

Support to grassroots civil society actors, particularly those promoting freedom of expression and gender equality

Advocacy for ethical, feminist, inclusive and intergenerational governance.

​Protection of vulnerable individuals, including children and young people affected by war, displacement or exploitation

Social and professional inclusion of refugees, activists, artists, and journalists

Networking and capacity-building for change-makers

Educational and psychosocial initiatives aimed at promoting children's rights and resilience
